Which of my orders have a customer journey?
The Orders with a journey card splits your store's orders into tracked by TrueROAS, from Shopify history, not imported and no visit found.
What the card shows
Orders with a journey is the first card on Customer Journeys. Its first line counts the orders with a full journey, for example 3,884 of 7,612 orders have a full TrueROAS journey. When none of the orders in your dates were tracked yet, it reads None of 6,239 orders were tracked by TrueROAS yet.
Under it, one bar splits your orders into up to four parts. Point at a part to see its exact number:
| Part | What it means |
|---|---|
| Tracked by TrueROAS | TrueROAS saved the customer's visits itself. These journeys are the most complete. |
| From Shopify history | TrueROAS has no visits for the order, so the journey uses the visit history Shopify keeps. This is the case for orders from before you installed TrueROAS, and for some later orders. Shopify keeps fewer visits, so these journeys are often shorter. |
| Not imported | Orders Shopify has that never reached TrueROAS, because they were placed before the oldest order TrueROAS imported. They have no journey. |
| No visit found | Orders without any saved visit, for example orders created by hand. |
On a Shopify store, the total is Shopify's own order count for your dates. On other stores it is the orders TrueROAS has.
When orders are not imported
When part of your dates comes before the oldest order TrueROAS has, a line under the bar reads, for example, 15,281 orders (฿28,881,197) before 31 Aug 2026 aren't in TrueROAS. The amount is Shopify's sales for those orders. How importing works opens How do I bring in orders from before I installed TrueROAS?.
These orders do not count anywhere else on the page: not in the numbers at the top, not in the cards and not in All customer journeys.
Good to know
- Click Why under the bar for the day TrueROAS started tracking and how the parts are counted.
- When you install TrueROAS, Shopify only shares about 60 days of past orders. Orders older than that cannot be imported from this page.
- A few orders that Shopify counts differently, such as cancelled and test orders, can make the parts add up to slightly less than Shopify's total. Why says how many.
- The card shows all customers, whatever you picked under All customers, New and Returning.
- Everyone on the store sees the same card for the same dates.
