How do I change the dates in Creative Lab?

Pick 7 days, 30 days or 90 days above the tabs, and Creative Lab loads your ads again for a period that always ends today.

Pick a period

  1. Find the buttons 7 days, 30 days and 90 days next to the calendar icon in the top right corner of Creative Lab, above the tabs.
  2. Click the period you want. The button turns blue.
  3. Grey placeholders fill the page while Creative Lab loads your ads and orders again for the new period. When it is done, you are back on the tab you were on.

Which days each button covers

Each button counts back from today. The period starts that many days before today and ends today, so today is always included. For example, on 14 October, 7 days shows 7 October to 14 October.

ButtonDays covered
7 days8 days: the 7 days before today, plus today
30 days31 days: the 30 days before today, plus today
90 days91 days: the 90 days before today, plus today

Days are counted in your store's time zone. See Which currency and time zone do my numbers use?.

Today is still in progress, so its numbers keep changing until the day is over. See Why are my newest orders or ad spend not showing yet?.

What you see when you open the page

When you open Creative Lab, it shows the date range saved to your login, the same one the Dashboard and the Ads Manager use. Until you click one of the three buttons, the numbers are for that saved range, even when one of the buttons is highlighted. For example, after you pick Yesterday in the Ads Manager, Creative Lab shows yesterday.

To check which range that is, look at the date range button on the Dashboard or in the Ads Manager. Clicking a button that is not highlighted loads that button's period.

This is also how you look at other dates: pick them with the date range button on the Dashboard or in the Ads Manager, then open Creative Lab.

Good to know

  • Your choice is saved to your login and carries over to the Dashboard and the Ads Manager, which then show the same period. Other people on the store keep their own dates. See How do I change the date range?.
  • How long a picked range is kept is explained in Why are my newest orders or ad spend not showing yet?.
  • You cannot pick your own dates, Today, Yesterday or a period that ends before today on this page. There is no Include today in date ranges box and no comparison period here.
