Why is a campaign missing from the Ads Manager?
A campaign is hidden when it had no activity in your date range, when a filter leaves it out, or when its ad platform is not connected.
Work through the list
Start at the top. The first causes are the most common.
1. It had no activity in your date range
The table only lists campaigns that did something in the period you picked. A campaign with no spend, no sales, no conversions and no assists in the date range is left out, even if it exists in your ad account. Two exceptions: a TikTok campaign that is not paused still shows when your TikTok ad account has 5 campaigns or fewer, and with the Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads or AppLovin platform button selected, every campaign of that platform shows. With more than 5 TikTok campaigns, a campaign without spend, impressions or conversions in the date range is left out.
The same goes one level down: inside a campaign, a paused ad set or ad with no spend, conversions or assists in the period is not listed.
Pick a longer date range that covers the days the campaign ran. See How do I change the date range?.
Some ad platforms, such as Meta and Pinterest, also limit which campaigns TrueROAS loads in the first place. See How do Google, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat campaigns differ in the Ads Manager?.
2. A search or a platform button is still on
If the Search campaigns... box has text in it, or one of the platform buttons such as Meta Ads is selected, only matching campaigns show. Click the X in the search box and click Reset. See How do I search campaigns, pick a platform and sort the table?.
3. A keyword filter hides it
Two filters hide campaigns by their name every time you open the page.
- Campaign Auto-Filters hide campaigns for your login. If you never added keywords yourself, you are using the store owner's list. On desktop, open the gear icon and look under Campaign Auto-Filters for an include or exclude keyword that explains it. See How do Campaign Auto-Filters work?.
- The Campaign Name Filter for Meta, and the one for Google, hide campaigns for the whole store. Sales from Meta campaigns hidden this way still show under Organic & Unassigned, as Meta ad rows. See What is the difference between the Meta Campaign Name Filter and Campaign Auto-Filters?.
4. The ad platform is not connected
On desktop, a greyed-out platform button above the table means that ad platform is not connected to this store, so none of its campaigns can load. Connect it under General Settings > Ad Platforms, or on the Integrations page. See What is the Integrations page and what can I do there?. The platform buttons are also greyed out while the table is still loading, so check them again once it has finished.
Also check that the ad account the campaign runs in is picked for this store. A campaign in another ad account does not show until that account is picked. For Meta, the campaigns of up to 3 ad accounts can load together. See Can I combine several Meta ad accounts in one store?.
5. The connection stopped working
Connections to ad platforms can expire, for example after a password change. The store owner or an admin then sees a window such as Meta connection issue with a Reconnect button. Team Members and Store Access users see a notice such as Store owner's Meta connection is unavailable instead, which lets them switch to their own connection. See What do I do when my Meta or Google Ads connection stops working?.
If campaigns are missing for another reason, reload the page first. Whether an ad platform shows a message when its campaigns cannot load is explained in How do Google, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat campaigns differ in the Ads Manager?. When your order data cannot load, the table stays empty without a message.
6. It is listed under Organic & Unassigned
When an ad was clicked but TrueROAS could not match it to a campaign, its orders appear under Organic & Unassigned instead, for example under Meta ads (untracked) or as a row ending in (Click to integrate). See What is Organic & Unassigned and what do its rows mean?.
Good to know
- An empty table with 0 campaigns in the Summary row means nothing was loaded at all. That points to cause 4 or 5, not to a filter.
- A campaign count next to Summary that is higher than the rows you see does not always mean a filter is on, because the count also includes campaigns hidden for having no activity. See What does the Summary row at the bottom of the table add up?.
- Campaign rows can be up to 15 minutes old, so a campaign that has just started may not be listed yet. See Why are my newest orders or ad spend not showing yet?.
- A brand new store shows a setup card above the table until tracking is installed and the first orders arrive. See What does the setup card at the top of the Dashboard mean?. Campaign rows can show spend before they show any sales.
- The export contains campaigns hidden by the search box, a platform button or Campaign Auto-Filters. See How do I export my campaign data to a CSV file?.
- There is no setting to show campaigns that had no activity in the date range.
