How do I delete a store from TrueROAS?

The store owner or an admin can delete a store with the trash icon in the store list, which stops it and hides it for everyone on the team.

Delete a store

  1. If the store you want to delete is the one you have open, switch to another store first. See How do I switch between my stores?.
  2. Open the store list at the top of the left menu. On a screen narrower than 1200 px, tap the menu button in the top left corner first.
  3. Click the trash icon at the right of the store you want to delete. Its tooltip reads Click here to permanently delete your store.
  4. A window titled Confirm Store Disconnection asks Are you sure you want to delete "(store name)" store ?. Click Disconnect. The button reads Disconnecting while it works. Cancel closes the window without deleting anything.
  5. A message with the store's web address followed by was deleted. confirms it, and the store disappears from the list.

What deleting does

  • The store is paused and marked as deleted. TrueROAS stops matching its new orders to your ads and stops sending its sales to the ad platforms.
  • The store's daily and weekly report emails stop.
  • The store disappears from the store list of everyone on the team.
  • The visits and orders TrueROAS already collected are kept, and so are the store's settings. There is no button in TrueROAS to erase them.
  • The TrueROAS app or plugin stays installed on your store. Remove it in your store's admin if you no longer want it.
  • Your subscription is not cancelled. See How do I cancel my TrueROAS subscription?.

Bring a deleted store back

Add the same store again with Add New Store at the top of the store list. TrueROAS brings back the store you deleted, with its history, instead of creating a new one. See How do I add a store to TrueROAS?.
