How is my TrueROAS price worked out?
Your price depends on your plan and on the revenue of your stores over the last 30 days, which TrueROAS checks again every day.
What your price depends on
Your price depends on two things: the plan you are on (Basic, Pro or Premium) and the revenue band your stores are in. A band is a range of monthly revenue. There are seven bands: under $10k, $10k to $40k, $40k to $100k, $100k to $300k, $300k to $500k, $500k to $1M, and $1M and above. The marks on the revenue slider you use when you pick a plan follow the same steps.
What each plan includes is explained in What is the difference between the Basic, Pro and Premium plans?.

The plan cards you start a plan from always start monthly billing. How to switch to yearly is explained in How do I upgrade, downgrade or switch my plan to yearly billing?. Quarterly billing is offered in the yearly offer in the menu, described in What is the Save 25% Yearly offer in the menu and when can I use it?.
How your revenue is measured
Once a day, TrueROAS adds up the revenue of the last 30 days of every store you own and sets your band from that total.
- For a Shopify store that is connected to TrueROAS, it counts the paid orders of the last 30 days in Shopify.
- For other stores, it counts the orders TrueROAS tracked in the last 30 days, leaving out incomplete, failed and pending orders. For a store added less than 30 days ago, the revenue so far is scaled up to a full 30 days.
- Revenue in other currencies is converted to US dollars.
- The check also runs during your free trial, so the price you pay after the trial follows your real revenue.
When your total moves into another band, the new price starts on your next invoice. On monthly billing that is your next monthly invoice, and on yearly billing your next yearly renewal. Nothing is charged or refunded for the days in between.
If your revenue drops by more than 70% from the figure your current price is based on, your price is not lowered by itself. The drop is held for a manual check first, because a drop that big usually means tracking has stopped working. If your sales really did drop, contact support as described in How do I get help or contact TrueROAS support?.
When you start a plan, your first price comes from the revenue you set on the slider. On the Billing tab, the line under the plans says so, for example Prices based on $25,000/mo revenue. Actual price based on tracked revenue. From then on, the daily check moves you to the band of your real revenue. How to start a plan is explained in How do I choose a plan and start my subscription?.
Free trial
- Your first plan comes with a 14-day free trial. Stripe's checkout page shows what you pay today before you confirm.
- If you opened a friend's referral link, your trial instead lasts until 30 days after you opened it. See How does Refer a Friend work and what do we both get?.
- Basic under $10k a month is free, but you still add a card. Its card shows Credit card required.
Tax
Where tax applies, it is added on top of the plan price. Stripe works it out from the billing address you enter at checkout. To add a VAT number or another tax ID to your invoices later, see How do I update my card, get invoices or add my VAT number?.
If you pay through Shopify
A Shopify store can pay through its Shopify bill instead. The plan sold through the TrueROAS app in Shopify is TrueROAS Pro. It is charged as a usage charge once per 30-day Shopify billing period, and the amount follows that store's revenue of the last 30 days:
| Revenue per month | Charge per period |
|---|---|
| Up to $10,000 | Free |
| Up to $40,000 | $199 |
| Up to $100,000 | $299 |
| Above $100,000 | $499 |
The total for a period is never more than $499, which is the limit you approve in Shopify. Each Shopify store is billed on its own revenue. How Trew usage is billed through Shopify is explained in How does Trew usage work and what does it cost?.
Other charges
- Conversion API (CAPI) add-on. On Basic, sending your sales back to your ad platforms is an add-on that costs extra, for example $49 a month per store on monthly billing. Pro and Premium include it. See Do I need the CAPI add-on to send events to ad platforms?.
- Trew usage. Usage above what your plan includes is added to your next bill. See How does Trew usage work and what does it cost?.
- Custom store setup. For a store that is not on Shopify or WooCommerce, the Billing tab shows Custom Integration Service, a one-time fee for the setup by the TrueROAS team, paid with the Pay Integration Fee button. See How do I connect a store that is not on Shopify or WooCommerce?.
Good to know
- Your price is set per paying login, not per store. The revenue of every store your login owns counts toward one price. Stores you only see as a team member count toward their owner's price, not yours.
- Paused and deleted stores do not count toward your revenue.
- Apart from a custom Premium price, you cannot choose your band yourself. It always follows the daily revenue check.
- What you see and can do on the Billing tab is explained in What can I see and do on the Billing tab in General Settings?.
