How do I stop getting marketing emails from TrueROAS?

Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email, and see what the Receive marketing emails switch and the Unsubscribe link in report emails change.

Stop marketing emails

Marketing emails from TrueROAS, such as news, tips and offers, end with an Unsubscribe link. Click it in any of those emails to stop getting them.

The Receive marketing emails switch

  1. Click General Settings at the bottom of the left menu and open the Store Settings tab.
  2. Under Store Management, click Manage on the Email Settings card.
  3. Under Marketing Emails (News, tips, and offers from TrueROAS), turn off Receive marketing emails.
  4. You see You're unsubscribed from marketing emails. Turning the switch back on shows You're subscribed to marketing emails.

The switch is saved to your login, so it does not change anyone else's emails.

While the switch is off:

  • If you own a store, the daily and weekly report emails stop going to your own addresses, for every store you own. Everyone on each store's report lists keeps getting them. See How do I choose who gets the daily and weekly report emails?.
  • If your address is on a store's report list, you keep getting that store's report emails. To stop them, remove your address from the list, or ask the store owner or an admin to.
  • Alert Agent emails keep coming. To stop those, see What are Alert Agent reports?.

Turning the switch back on brings back the report emails to your own addresses.

The daily and weekly report emails end with an Unsubscribe link. It opens a page that reads You are unsubscribed from TrueROAS daily report.

  • The link does not take any address off a store's report lists. Everyone on a list keeps getting the emails until their address is removed from the list.
  • If you are the store owner, the link turns off Receive marketing emails for your login, so the report emails stop going to your own addresses. To get them again, turn the switch back on as described above.

Good to know

  • Each person sets the switch for their own login. You cannot change it for someone else.
  • There is one switch, with no choice per kind of email.
  • If the store owner stops getting the report emails, check that Receive marketing emails is still on for the owner's login.
  • Manage on the Email Settings card is greyed out until you have added a store.
  • Team members whose permissions do not let them open General Settings cannot reach the switch. See What can team members see and change on the Dashboard and Ads Manager?.
  • On a phone, the Email Settings window fills the screen.
