Which currency and time zone do my numbers use?

Set your store's currency and time zone under Regional Settings, and learn how orders and ad spend in other currencies or time zones are handled.

Set the currency and time zone

Your numbers use your store's currency and time zone. TrueROAS fills them in for you when it can, for example from your Shopify store, so check them once.

  1. Click General Settings at the bottom of the left menu and open the Store Settings tab.
  2. Under Reporting Settings, click Manage.
  3. Under Regional Settings (Currency and timezone), click the Currency field, type your currency code, for example EUR, and pick it from the list. You will see Saved new currency setting for and your store. The first option in the list, Same as Meta Ad Account, does not change your store currency, so pick a currency code.
  4. Click the Timezone field, type a city in your time zone, for example Berlin, and pick it. If your city is not listed, pick another city with the same time. You will see Saved new timezone setting for and your store's name.

Each choice is saved the moment you pick it. If saving fails, you will see We couldn't save your currency. Please try again. or We couldn't save your timezone. Please try again.

There is a second currency field, Choose your currency, under Attribution Settings on the Data Settings tab. It sets the same store currency, with the same list and messages. See What do the settings on the Data Settings tab change?.

Only the store owner or an admin can change the fields under Regional Settings. Everyone else sees them greyed out, with You are viewing settings for a store you don't own. Some options may be restricted. at the top of the window.

You can change a store's time zone up to 10 times. After that you will see Change limit exceeded. Please contact our support.

How other currencies are converted

How days are counted

  • TrueROAS puts each order on a day using your store's time zone. If the Timezone field is empty, it uses the time zone of your Meta ad account, or GMT when there is none, so pick your time zone to be sure.
  • When you change the time zone, orders move between days for all your dates, past ones too.
  • Ad platforms report each day's spend in the time zone of your ad account. If your ad account uses a different time zone from your store, a day of spend and a day of sales cover different hours.
  • The last day you can pick in the date range is today in your store's time zone.

Good to know

  • The currency and time zone apply to the whole store, so everyone on the store sees the same numbers.
  • The Recent Orders card shows each order in the currency it came in, without converting.
  • You cannot set a currency or time zone for your own login only, or enter your own exchange rate.
