Why does Customer Journeys say No data available or keep loading?

No data available means there were no orders in your date range, they could not be loaded, or no date range was saved yet, and each has a fix.

When the page only says No data available

When the page shows No data available. instead of your journeys, TrueROAS has no orders to build journeys from. There are three causes:

  1. There were no orders in your date range. Pick a longer or another range with the date range button. See How do I change the date range?. A range you picked earlier can also have gone back to the default range by itself, as explained in Why are my newest orders or ad spend not showing yet?.
  2. You have never picked a date range on your login. The page only loads once a date range is saved. Open the date range button and click Update, even without changing the dates.
  3. Your orders could not be loaded. Reload the page. A shorter date range has fewer orders to load.

If TrueROAS shows no new orders on the other pages either, your orders may not be reaching TrueROAS. What to check is explained in Why are my newest orders or ad spend not showing yet?.

When the page keeps loading

While your orders load, the page shows Analyzing your customer journeys with a percentage and a progress bar. The line under the bar changes as it goes and says what is happening, such as Fetching your orders..., Mapping each customer's journey... or Finding the most common paths...

  • The percentage is an estimate of the time it takes, not a count of your orders. It slows down as it goes and stops at 92% until your journeys are ready.
  • The note under it reads Stores with lots of orders in the selected period can take up to a minute. A shorter date range loads faster.
  • If it is still loading after a few minutes, reload the page.

When only some cards are missing

Some cards only show when there is something to show. When each one appears is explained here:

Good to know

  • Your date range is saved to your login, so someone else on the store can see journeys for their dates while you see No data available. for yours.
  • Before you add a store, the page shows example data instead of this message. See What is Customer Journeys and what can I do there?.
  • On the Basic plan the page is locked. See Why is a page locked behind Upgrade to Pro?.
  • The page has no button of its own to load again. It loads again when you pick other dates, when you switch to another store, or when you reload the page in your browser.
