What is in the Shopify report?
The Shopify report covers store sales, orders, customers, best-selling products and how your ad spend relates to store revenue.
What it covers
Your store as a whole for the time range you picked: sales, orders and customers, with your Meta Ads and Google Ads spend next to it.
What you see
- A summary at the top with numbers such as Total Sales, Total Orders, Avg Order Value, Returning Rate, Total Ad Spend and MER.
- Store Health & LTV: what a customer is worth over time and other key store numbers.
- Sales Trend: monthly sales and orders over the past 12 months.
- Channel Attribution: revenue per marketing channel. Attribution means matching each order to the ad or channel that brought the customer.
- Ad Platform Performance: ad spend and return for Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Customers & Products: new and returning customers and your best-selling products.
- Growth Opportunities: written recommendations based on the numbers in the report.
On the Reports page the card shows total sales, the number of orders and the average order.
Good to know
- Some numbers only appear when the store has that data. A section with nothing to show is left out.
- The report needs your Shopify store to be connected.
- Spend on TikTok and other ad platforms is not in this report.
- You cannot add or remove sections.
- To make one, see How do I create a new report?.
