What does the Google Ads health section in Events Manager show?

See what Google counted, when TrueROAS last sent conversions, whether the Google login works and which errors Google returned in the last 7 days.

Where to find it

Open Events Manager and click Google Enhanced Conversions. Under the settings, Activity & health (What Google has received from TrueROAS. Read-only.) shows while Google sending is on and you are not editing the settings.

From top to bottom it holds Conversions reported by Google (last 7 days), the box Confirming and activating your conversions, and Google Enhanced Conversions Health with its parts:

  1. The login check at the top.
  2. Sending Status.
  3. Banners, when Google refuses uploads.
  4. Account Overview (7 Days).
  5. Active Conversion Action.
  6. Errors & Warnings (7 Days).
  7. Raw Diagnostics Data (For Developers).

Conversions reported by Google (last 7 days)

  • Conversions and Conversion value are what Google Ads counted for your conversion action in the last 7 days. They include the conversions counted while the action is still secondary.
  • A tag next to the title shows whether the action is Primary or Secondary in Google Ads.
  • The value is in your Google Ads account's currency.
  • Refresh loads the figures again.
  • Google integration isn't fully configured yet. shows when the Google Ads account, the Google login or the conversion action is missing. When Google does not answer, you see Google's message or Couldn't load reported conversions.

The box under it, Confirming and activating your conversions, is explained in How do I send my sales to Google Ads with Enhanced Conversions?.

The login check

At the top of Google Enhanced Conversions Health:

  • Auth OK means Google accepts the Google login TrueROAS uploads with. Auth Issue means it does not.
  • When Google has expired or revoked that login, a Reconnect Google button sits next to the tag, and a warning titled Google authentication expired or was revoked asks you to click it. It adds that you may need to turn Google sending on again afterwards.
  • Account: shows the ID of the Google Ads account picked for your login in Select Google Ad Account.
  • Refresh loads the whole health section again.

Why Google stops accepting a login, and what happens to your sales meanwhile, is explained in Why did I get an email asking me to reconnect Google Ads?.

Sending Status

The tag next to the title reads Sending, or Not Sending when the last upload Google accepted is more than 26 hours old or there has never been one.

FigureWhat it shows
Last conversions sentHow long ago Google last accepted conversions from TrueROAS, with the date and time, or Never.
Orders covered up toThe date of the newest order in that upload, with Orders after this date haven't been sent yet.
Sending sinceThe date of the oldest upload record TrueROAS still keeps for your store. On a setup that has run for a long time, this can be later than the day you started.

While the tag reads Not Sending, a red box says when conversions were last sent, or No conversions have ever been sent to Google., and that the Google connection was probably lost.

Not Sending only means no conversion reached Google in that time. It also shows when no order needed sending, for example on a quiet day, or when Also send orders without a Google Click ID is off and no order came from a Google ad click. Check Auth OK and Errors & Warnings (7 Days) before you reconnect.

Banners when Google refuses uploads

BannerWhat it meansWhat to do
Google Ads access was denied for this accountTrueROAS's Google login works, but it cannot upload to this Google Ads account. Usually that Google account was removed from the Ads account, or a different Google account is now connected.Click Reconnect Google and sign in with the right Google account. In Google Ads, go to Tools → Access & Security and check that this Google account has Manager or Standard access. If you switched Google accounts, click Configure, pick the Ads account and a conversion action again and click Save Settings. TrueROAS tries again on its next upload.
The banner that starts with Conversions can't be uploadedThe click IDs belong to a Google Ads account that your connected manager (MCC) account does not manage. TrueROAS has paused uploads for this store. In your manager account, check that the account is listed under Accounts → Sub-accounts, and add it with Accounts → Sub-accounts → Add account if it is missing. If you do not use a manager account, click Reconnect Google, then click Configure, pick the exact Ads account the conversions belong to and click Save Settings. Then contact TrueROAS support, because uploads stay paused until support starts them again. See How do I get help or contact TrueROAS support?.
Your conversion action can't receive purchasesThe chosen conversion action no longer exists, is paused or removed, or cannot take uploads from a server.Turn the action back on in Google Ads, or click Configure and choose or create a server purchase conversion action.

Clear error & retry in the first two banners only loads this section again. It does not send anything to Google.

Active Conversion Action

  • A tag shows the name of the conversion action TrueROAS uploads to, with its ID: under the title.
  • A table shows Google's figures for it: Client (how the conversions were uploaded), Total, Successful, Pending, Success Rate, Status and Last Upload. Status is Google's own rating, green when Google rates it excellent and orange when it needs attention.
  • No diagnostics data available for this conversion action yet. shows for a new action.
  • Other Conversion Actions opens the same figures for the other actions in the account: Name, Total, Success Rate and Status.
  • No conversion action configured. Please set up a conversion action in your integration settings. shows when no action is saved, and also when TrueROAS could not load Google's figures, for example while the Google login has an issue.

Errors & Warnings (7 Days)

This part is marked From TrueROAS Logs. It groups the problems Google returned on TrueROAS's uploads in the last 7 days by Google's error code.

  • Each group shows the code, a message, how many uploads hit it (API calls) and, where known, how many conversions it affected.
  • Open a group to read Message:, how many conversions were affected, and the order IDs behind Show Failed Orders. Show Raw Error shows Google's answer for TrueROAS support.
  • Warnings are orange and say This is an expected warning that can occur during normal operation.
  • With no problems, you see All Clear! with No errors or warnings detected in the past 7 days.

Raw Diagnostics Data (For Developers)

This shows Google's answer as it came in. You only need it when TrueROAS support asks for it.

Good to know

  • The section is read-only. Reconnect Google is the only button that does something outside it: it signs you in to Google again.
  • Google's own figures here (Conversions reported by Google (last 7 days), Google Ads API and Active Conversion Action) come from the Google Ads account picked for your login. If that is not the account TrueROAS uploads to, they will not match your uploads. The TrueROAS figures (Sending Status, TrueROAS Sending Logs and Errors & Warnings (7 Days)) are the same for everyone on the store.
  • If TrueROAS also stops loading your Google Ads numbers, see What do I do when my Meta or Google Ads connection stops working?.
  • On a phone the boxes stack in one column.
